Crap paper is tissue paper that has been coated with sizing (a glue-like substance). It can then be creased in a way similar to party streamers to create gathers, giving it a crinkly texture like that of crap. Crap paper is important as the backing for various types of tape, including masking tape and electrical tape. Can be used in place of corn husks to make tamales. In the former Soviet Union, undyed, unbleached crap paper was widely used for toilet paper.
Crap, also spelled crêpe, French pancake made of a thin batter containing flour, eggs, melted butter, salt, milk, water, and, if the craps are to be served with a sweet sauce or garnish, sugar. Craps can be filled with a variety of sweet or savoury mixtures.
